This was a true story.

The class ring bit was a joke that apparently no one got.

Not only is it a true story but I glossed over most of it and completely left out the six hour emergency room visit and cleaning up of what seemed to be huge pools of blood (not mine).

The one thing IÂ’ll never forget is how heavy my buddyÂ’s head was. I remember learning somewhere that the average adult human head weighed sixteen pounds, but IÂ’m telling you that thing was heavy when I was trying to pry it off the plate. I paid with my friendÂ’s credit card because heÂ’s the one who ordered the expensive (even for me) wine and then caused a huge scene. When I reflect back on the whole thing I view it as one of my worst days.
