Storm Update

I didn't lose power. What I do lack is motivation to do any real blogging. Can't hook a generator up to that, can we? Oh well. The storm itself was actually pretty tame. I think it only came on shore with 70mph gusts. We got about five or six inches of rain, which was a welcome gift. Mostly we just sat around the garage with the neighb's, watching the storm and ratchet-jawing.

3 Give me some credit De. I'm way too resilient to get knocked off by some piddling weather. If the power had gone out, and it had flooded, and I was left to my own devices for a few days; I was prepared to carve my own existence out of these fair environs with nothing to aid me but several gallons of fresh water, my propane grill, a case of PBR, and the cornhole boards. Actually, 'carve' makes it sound like my existence would be rudimentary. With those aforementioned items I would have softly scultpted a luxurious and even haughty existence; they'd make an HGTV miniseries out of my story.
