U.S. Humanitarian Group Arrives in Cuba

120 supporters of Pastors for Peace violated the US embargo on Cuba. They arrived in good spirits with their contraband goods and t-shirts calling for regime change in the USA.

Try that again - they went to Cuba and are calling for regime change in America.

Thank God they've moved to Cuba so we won't have to deal with them any longer. What? They aren't staying in the workers' utopia? They prefer the horrific boot of the oppressive Bush regime against the back of their collective neck to living in Cuba? Damn. Unfortunately we'll let 'em back in too. Isn't that a kicker? We'll let people violate our laws and actively court, incite, aid and abet a sworn enemy state and then we'll let them back in our country just because an accident of birth made them Americans. Try that in an Arab country.

Of course Cuba would let the people who've fled to Florida back in too. The big difference is how they'd be treated. Odd how the people who've fled from Cuba are not at all interested in returning there.

What really gets my goat is that these people won't even face charges. You see , they got around the embargo by moving their supplies through Mexico. It's not illegal to ship things to Mexico and it's not illegal to ship things from Mexico to Cuba. Although they broke the travel embargo by going to Cuba themselves that particular law is so seldom enforced as to be laughable. It's there more as a safeguard so people who go there and do end up on the wrong end of a rifle butt can't whine that Uncle Sam didn't protect them.

Oh well. Castro's a walking corpse so I'm thinking we have only another year or two of taking this crap in the exit orifice before actual beneficial regime change can happen. Until such time I wish the Pastors for Peace many a painful boil.
