7 It's not too bad, Tiffani. Traces of yankee can be removed with consumption of suitable amounts of grits and/or collard greens. If you're willing to take these measures then you have nothing to worry about. If you let it fester though you'll find your yankitude growing beyond your ability to correct it.

10 Good God! I scored on 49%!!! I was born and raised in Maine! To be fair tho, I haven't lived there since I was 19 - which is way too long ago - so maybe 49% is still good. It must really be something to listen to me - tawkin' bout takin' my cah down thaya to tha brew thru for a pop or a beya, ya'll! Mind you, I crashed and burned on the first question: How do you pronounce Aunt? o Like the word want o Like the word ant o Like the word caught o I pronounce them all the same In Australia (and, I think, England) all of these have different vowel sounds. Apparently, there are more vowels in Australian english than in U.S. english. Oh, and the tiny lobster that crawls around in creek bottoms is a yabbie.

2 Just a thought: Why are the Symphonies posted on Mondays? There's so much good stuff to read, but Monday evenings -- for most of us -- don't supply enough time to peruse the large batch of bloggy goodness. I keep of the commercial where the gal says "Sunday was made for the New York Times." I think that if the Symphonies were posted at 7:00am on Sundays alot more readers would have the time to spend -- over coffee and english muffins -- relaxing and reading through the Best Of Us. Granted, we have a week to get through it all, but I think most would like to meet it all in one sitting and then move on. Just a thought for what it's worth.

3 The Blogosphere tends to slow to a crawl on the weekends so we went looking for the best weekday to post it on. Monday had the least conflict with other established multi-post memes so we went with that.

Have any of you not yet been to Simon World? You really should check it out. Simon is well writen, attractive, and highly available for hetero or homosexual encounters. Looking for tall, dark and handsome? That's him. Short and built like a greco-roman wrestler? He's your guy. He's got humor, deep insightful commentary, and he opens windows for your mind. Unless you don't like that, in which case he's all about short and easy to understand humor. Or whatever else you're looking for.

[What's that? I can't say all that? Why not? Oh, yeah...right.]

It's been pointed out to me that as Simon is not in fact all things to all people, that I may be creating a false image in your head that he cannot possibly match, which will in turn cause you to not enjoy your experience when you go to his site and since that's pretty much 180 degrees off of the intent of this post it's not exactly the best way to pimp promote his site. Guess I've been following the Democratic Party hopefuls too closely and my worldview has been skewed. Here's the factual blurb:

I almost feel guilty for how much time I've wasted on this little game but how often do you get to fulfill a fantasy like this?

My top score was 320.5. Dopple-G got a 323 but that's probably only because he's a natural animal abuser.

5 Y'all need to go back for batting practice! My high was 593.5!!! My average was around 400 feet. The more consistently you hit, the farther they fly. Line drives skip and slide and go longer. And holding the left click now seems to help (or maybe that was the consistency - I can't tell)

12 Nope - there are at least three different versions of the game. Version one maxes out at around 300 feet, version two at about 600, and version three around 1200. Version three is much more fun

Rich Bushnell has a new site. His Bowling For Truth site is a fantastic piece of work dedicated to exposing the dirty underside of Michael Moore's award winning travesty. The new site is all about Al Franken and shows us the blatant lies in Franken's latest work of unintentional fiction.

I despise Al Franken and Rich's site goes a goodly way towards showing you why. It's not because of his politics or his opinions, it's because he's a vicious smear artist who has such little respect for his own audience that he'll blatantly lie straight to their faces in order to make his points.
